Adam in Universal Studios Orlando, Florida 3/13/16!

In early January, Adam announced that he would be coming to Universal Studios Florida during Mardi Gra. Originally, we had planned on going to that show and that show only, but then we figured that the stage wouldn't have the same set up as an arena would have with all the screens. So, we went to Adam's first show out of the three in Florida instead!

After the show in Hard Rock Live was over, my mom and I were feeling like something was missing. We knew we had to go to the show on the next day, as well. We just weren't sure how we were gonna pull it off! Both of us wanted to, but complications were making it hard. So, we figured we'd hope for the best and decide in the morning.

Morning came and it was feeling like it wasn't going to happen. Until around 2:30pm, my mom and I just said screw it, we're going, we'll figure it out on the way. And that was that! We had about an hour and a half to get ready for a show that we were half planning on going to. So I got a change of clothes, gathered our money and we were off at 4:00pm! We were trying to find Florida's Turnpike and ended up going the wrong way! Then we headed towards another way to get on, but you needed Sunpass to do so. We had to turn around and drive about 20 more minutes away before even getting onto the highway. We didn't go on our way until around 4:45pm!

We drove for around 2 hours and listened to some more of Adam's albums and also some David! The drive was pretty simple, so it was a refreshing start from the day before. So many cows everywhere lol. We made our way onto our exit and there was Universal Studios!

We got our parking ticket and the guy handing it to us wouldn't stop singing I don't know what the entire time LOL. Then, we made our way into the parking garage and we were in the Cat in the Hat level! I thought that was cool!

As we were heading into the park, we noticed they really buffed up security. Last time we were here you could just walk right through, this time you had to go through a giant metal detector! Reminded me of an airport. After that, we saw a sign with Adam's name on it! And a huge universal sign plus the globe!

Since we decided we were going to Universal extremely last minute, we were there without any ticket whatsoever. So we headed over to the Customer Service area and waited in line for a good 20 minutes, when we saw that there was a sign across the way that had "Tickets" on it. So, you'd assume that's where you would go to buy tickets, right? Nope. We got out the Customer Service line since we assumed we would get tickets over there, but the guy at the desk said we had to go to back to Customer Service, but now there was about 20 more people in line! The line was moving SO slow as well. We waited there for a good half hour to 40 minutes before getting to the desk. Now it was past 7:00pm. Adam was going on at 8:30pm and it was GA! Once we made it up to the desk, the guy there asked us if we were there for the Adam concert. He was so happy that we were he gave us a $15 discount!! Awesome! Once we left Customer Service we headed over to the bathroom. Then, we went over to the gate and you had to do a finger print this time, they didn't have that before. They made everyone sign their ticket (which I don't even know the point of doing that, you don't show it anywhere else) and I ended up smudging my entire name being a lefty so it didn't matter anyway LOL. After that, we headed over to the concert area!

Adam's picture showed up on the screen as we were making our way over!

There were SO many people flooding the streets do to the concert and that there was going to be a parade, so it was hard just getting to where we needed to go! After walking and walking practically into hundreds of people, we found the stage! It was busy, but not as busy as my mom and I thought it was going to be since we were stuck in line for so long at Customer Service. We shoved our way through a bunch of people and made it into the middle, pretty close to the stage!! And now, waiting time. Every single time they adjusted the lights or were setting everything up, the entire crowd would scream because they thought Adam was coming on lol. Anyway, as we were waiting, they showed the parade on the screens where Adam's picture originally was!

I thought I had taken more pictures of the parade, but apparently I didn't. Oh well. They had a really cool Jazz float, a mermaid looking float, a clown-like float, a big green dragon float and a bunch more!

I'm not sure why, I think because it could technically not be considered part of the tour (although he and his site considered it to be) Alex wasn't opening for Adam that night.

About an hour had past and it was almost time for Adam to come on! The concert began once again with the awesome zodiac screen and with the 'Better Than I Know Myself' remix! Another 15 or so minutes past and his opening song 'Evil In the Night' started!! Then he sang For Your Entertainment, Ghost Town, Runnin, Chokehold, Sleepwalker, Underground, Whataya Want From Me, Lucy, After Hours, Mad World, Another Lonely Night, The Light, The Original High, Never Close Our Eyes, Let's Dance, Lay Me Down, Shady, Fever and If I Had You as the encore + band intro which ended up being 15 more minutes when he came back! He had the crowd sing the You's with him during the song and he just started dying laughing during it and said "I'm getting so cheesy now. I'm like AND YOU AND YOU AND YOU" going along the entire stage all dramatic LOLLLL. He also kept changing the words in his songs to Orlando LOL. I was so hoping he would sing These Boys, but sadly, he did not. Maybe next time! A part of me is glad he didn't sing 'There I Said It'. Although I would have loved to hear it, dang, it's an emotional song.

Some pictures before the first outfit change!

I managed to get a video of pretty much all of Lay Me Down, which I'm so happy he did!!!

There were so many different things to remember that were hilarious, I wish I could remember them all. He finished the first few songs and then said "There are so many cuties out here tonight!! The girls are looking good too!" LOL. It also started raining during the last half of the concert so some people decided it would be a good idea to put their umbrellas up lol.  I could only see half of the show for a while, but oh well. As soon as the people in the front took it down, the whole crowd started cheering LOL. He suddenly realized after about two songs that it was raining and said "Oh is it raining out there?! Sorry. Sometimes when I sing that last song I spit a little... HA HA HA HA" LOL it was hilarious. One girl in the audience next to us kept going "DADDDYYYY" every time he did something LOL. After he sang Underground he started talking and greeting the crowd and he decided to run down towards the audience! He ran towards a women who was doing sign language for the show and gave her a high five LOL. At one point he got a towel to dry off with and the girls in the front row started freaking the heck out and he started laughing at them and asked if they wanted it. So he licked it to mess with them LOL. He threw it to them and apparently he threw it a little too short and was laughing at how the girls in the front row lunged forward for it and pretend to lunge for it too lol. Then he said "See, that's how much of a dork I am. I can't even throw a towel. I'm proud to declare I'm a dork and I really don't care! Anyone here a dork? Hell yeah! And if you're cool, well..... Cool. You get it." LOLLLLL. It was the funniest thing. The entire time the crowd was singing along to every single song. I love it! Before he came back with the final outfit of the night (which I LOVE) they played a sort of remixed version of Kickin' In that I've never heard before. So freakin' cool!

Once again, before he sang Another Lonely Night he gave a speech about equality and acceptance. I always love when he does that, his love for people and his kind heart and soul is just one of the many reasons he is so important to/loved by my mom and I.

Another note, when he did Lucy he had one of his dancers Holly danced under a spotlight while he sang, I thought that was so awesome!! His two dancers Holly and Terrance are so good and fun to watch!

I don't know if it was the crowd or just that he felt better, but the entire feel of the concert was so much different than the last. He was having so much fun and laughing the entire time!

And, sadly, Adam left and the concert came to an end. Everyone around us was starting to walk away and suddenly I realized I literally couldn't move lol. My back had sort of locked in place while standing on the pavement for so long and I didn't realize it, I guess. Finally I was able to walk after a few minutes and we thought we'd go find the merchandise to see if they had anything different from the night before. Only, we couldn't find it at first! We started walking away from the stage and realized we must be heading in the wrong direction, so we turned around and got stopped by some staff that worked there and asked if we wanted to take a survey about the show on his tablet. So, my mom and I did that and it was really cool! Adam was in the entire survey! We finished that and walked a little more and lo and behold! There was the merchandise table. Unfortunately they didn't have anything else, but it was still cool to see, nonetheless!

We decided since last time we felt so rushed and sort of left Universal in a hurry, that this time we'd take a look around! So many cool sights! Plus, I took some photos of some things my brothers would like, such as Doctor Who and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles merchandise.

Also, there was a really cool waterfall sort of thing where the lights on the water would go with the music that was playing! It was so cool! At one point the lights made a rainbow color on the waterfall.

Then, we made our way to the exit. On the way out we saw a giant robot that I wished I had gotten a photo of and a bunch of people with Harry Potter merchandise. We walked over to a stand and got a blue raspberry Icee and headed back to the car. While we were getting in, I saw a really cool Ferris wheel across the way!

Then the long 2 hour drive home. But not before my mom and I stopped by Wendy's and got a burger and fries. Now, our Adam weekend had come to an end. When we got home I checked Adam's twitter to see if he had said anything and what do I find? He's releasing a brand new Spring anthem song on my moms birthday! The Adam weekend just kept getting better and better!! Also, Adam gave us so much at Universal that he ended up being forced to cancel the next Florida show due to risk of damaging his voice. Feel better, Adam! <3

I'm so glad that we ended up deciding to go to Universal Studios, as well. Adam was on fire that night and danced so much! Plus, he's such a good dancer! Just being around his energy was so uplifting and needed for so many reasons. We had so much fun!

P.S.

I just need to point out how freakin' cool Adam's screens were.

Colors. So many colors.

P.S.S.

The umbrella.
